The 8th Annual Chance for Change marked a momentous milestone this year. We have raised over $1,000,000 for the Foundation to date. To commemorate this accomplishment the committee surprised guests with an impromptu celebration complete with stilt walkers and tears of joy!
Throughout the evening, guests enjoyed great food, entertainment and fun carnival style games. Diane Williams MC'd the event, and Sydney Bryant Kodatsky spoke to guests about the challenges she faces with TTP and why their support is so desperately needed to find a targeted treatment.
The event is the Foundation’s life-blood fundraiser, bringing in over 85% of all the donated funds towards our charitable programs. This event would still be a small fundraiser in Sydney's basement if it wasn’t for our dedicated committee of volunteers.
We were blessed to have 31 sponsors of our Chance for Change event in 2017. Many have supported this event since 2011, the first year we offered sponsorships. Special thanks to those sponsors who also come out to the event year after year. It means so much to us that you share these evenings with us.
The Committee is also blessed to have the support of businesses and friends who donate items to our silent auction. Over $40,000 worth of goods and services were collected toward the 2017 silent auction. All of it was 100% donated.
Our guests had a spectacular evening. Their enthusiasm for the event inspires our committee and all the volunteers of the Foundation to continue our hard work all year long.
