Take Action Update

A big thank you to those who took part in our winter advocacy campaign. With your help, we sent almost 70 letters to provincial political representatives and was able to meet with politicians from British Columbia, Alberta, and Ontario who then delivered a letter to their province’s Health Minister requesting caplacizumab on their drug formulary. Politicians were touched by your stories, and this campaign has brought forth greater awareness of the importance of access to caplacizumab for the TTP community. At the same time, Answering TTP also ran a Twitter campaign to bring to educate the public on TTP and share patient experiences.
